About Us
 ProMetroNet is an association of professionals from the Rockland / Bergen County area who meet periodically in order to establish professional relationships and exchange business referrals. We make business networking fun. :-)
We pride ourselves on easy-going, fun networking. Back in 2007, we were affiliated with a larger networking franchise that charged us a lot of money, gave us no support, and pressured us to produce 'the numbers'. Quite frankly, not only did we not enjoy it, but we decided that there is a lot more to networking then handing over a slip of paper and breathing a sigh of relief for another week. Plus...a lot of those leads were bogus anyway!
So, we all decided to get together and form our own group, Professional Metropolitan Networkers, or ProMetroNet for short. We charged a lot less to join, and created a system that allows for more natural networking and business development. We've been together through good times and bad, and we focus on developing closer friendships by getting to know each other as human beings. How do we do that? We plan networking events as a team, we have Holiday Parties, pool parties, in-service training, workshops, seminars, musicians, and of course...guest speakers such as one of the original members of the Jamaican Bobsled Team. :-)
All this adds up to fun. Oh, yeah...and since we enjoy each other's company, we are naturally inclined to refer each other business.
